GStreamer is a media framework that supports playing and capturing many media
formats, as well as more complex operations.  GNUstep could use GStreamer in
its implementation of the NSMovie/QTMovie and NSSound (and related) classes.

<p>
(Trying to support the full QuickTime API would be out of the scope of this
project.  It would probably be at least one GSoC project in and of itself.)
